If your Publish post isn't loading correctly on your website, work through these checks in order. If your website is on WordPress or Squarespace, see Troubleshoot Publish posts on WordPress or Publish post not loading correctly in Squarespace instead.
Is my post still published?
If your post is missing from your website, check in Publish that it's still published, and that it hasn't been unpublished or deleted. If you unpublished it, you can publish it again yourself.
If you deleted your post by mistake, contact us as soon as you can. We may be able to restore it, but we can't promise, and you may need your original photos to publish it again. See Can I restore a deleted Publish post?
Your Publish subscription also needs to be active. Posts won't load if your subscription has ended or a payment has failed.
Is my code set up correctly?
If your post still doesn't show, check the code you added to your website:
In Publish, click Copy Link to copy your post's code again. Paste all of it, without changing any of the code.
Paste the code into a part of your website that runs HTML code. Website builders often call this an HTML, Embed or Custom HTML block.
Save your changes, then open the live page on your website (not the editor) to check your post.
For the full steps, see Publishing to other websites.
What if my post still isn't loading?
If your post still isn't loading correctly, duplicate it and publish the copy:
In Publish, click the three dots on your post and choose Duplicate.
Publish the duplicate.
Add the duplicate's code to your website in place of the old code, then check the live page.
The duplicate counts as another published post on your plan. See I've reached my Publish post limit if you're near your limit.
Can I add my post to my website as JPGs instead?
If your post still won't load, you can export it as JPGs and upload them to your website yourself. Exporting needs a yearly Publish plan. Your text isn't exported, and exported JPGs are still images, so features like Lightbox won't work.
How can I avoid problems with my posts?
To avoid problems with your posts:
Check your post on your live website after you publish it.
Check you've chosen the right post before you unpublish or delete it.
Keep your original photos and your own backups, so you can publish a post again if it's deleted by mistake.
