When will I be charged?

For monthly subscription users

If you signed up to a paid Select plan on the 5th day of a month then your billing cycle will always start on the 5th of each month. Narrative will take your payment on this date.

For yearly subscription users

If you signed up to a paid Select plan on the 20th of June then your billing cycle will always start on the 20th of June each year. Narrative will take your payment on this date.

What happens if I change my plan halfway through my subscription?

Should you choose to change your subscription halfway (or midway through your billing cycle), Narrative has things sorted so you don't end up spending extra.

Depending on the type of subscription you have, Narrative will pro rate the period of the month (or year) you did not use and apply it as credit on your new monthly or yearly subscription.

For example:

If you are on Pro Monthly, billed monthly $20 on the 1st of each month and you decide to change to Pro Yearly exactly halfway through the plan’s billing cycle -i.e., on the 15th of April- when you move to the Pro Yearly (with a cost of $180) the unused portion of the previous subscription (resulting of $10) will be applied as credit to your yearly subscription.

If you are on Pro Yearly, billed yearly $180 on the 1st of January and decide to change to Pro Monthly exactly halfway through the plan’s billing cycle -i.e., on the 1st of July- when you move to the Pro Monthly (with a cost of $20) the unused portion of the previous subscription (resulting of $90) will be applied as credit.


Which payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard credit and debit cards, Maestro, JCB, as well as American Express credit cards.

All payments are billed in USD.


What's the difference between the yearly and the monthly subscription?

The annual subscription is paid once per year. Your first payment will be made when you upgrade to Select Pro. Following payments will be made annually on your billing anniversary.

The monthly subscription is paid once per calendar month on your billing anniversary.


I canceled early and lost access to my Pro features—what happened?

With our current system, canceling your Pro subscription early automatically switches your account to the Free plan, and any remaining credit is added to your account.

If you'd like to reactivate your Pro subscription until the original end date, please contact our Support team using the chat bubble in the bottom right corner.


What is your refund policy?

If you change your plan or cancel, our system will automatically pro-rate your subscription charges. As a default, any amount in credit is added to your account and will apply to future invoices.

If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchasing, you can contact support to request a refund instead. You can get in contact through the chat in the bottom right or via email to [email protected].
