How do I add photos to my new post?

Your new post opens, and you start it by choosing a folder of photos. This becomes your post's source folder, and the photos in it show in the gallery, ready to add to your post.

Publish names your post after the folder you choose. To change the name later, see Rename a Publish post.

Publish only adds the photos directly inside the folder you choose. To include photos in folders inside it, see Can I include subfolders when adding images to a Publish post?

Note: If the folder you choose has no photos in it, Publish asks you to select a different folder.

What should I do next?

Once your gallery is ready, start adding photos to your post. See Add photos to your Publish post.
