You can send the photos you've selected in Narrative to Photoshop (Camera Raw), with their ratings. On a Mac you ship them straight from Narrative, and on Windows you drag them into Photoshop.
Note: You can't apply an AI Preset when you ship to Photoshop. To edit with an AI Preset, ship to Lightroom Classic or Lightroom CC instead. Learn how to ship with an AI Preset.
How do I ship my photos to Photoshop on a Mac?
Once you've finished culling, follow these steps:
Click Ship + Edit in the top-right corner.
Choose Photoshop (Camera Raw) from the list.
Choose which photos to ship. For example, choose 5 stars to ship your 5-star photos.
Click the ship button at the bottom.
Your photos open in Photoshop, ready to import into Camera Raw.
How do I get my photos into Photoshop on Windows?
On Windows, you drag your photos into Photoshop.
Filter to the photos you want in Narrative, then press Ctrl+A to select them all.
Drag them from the filmstrip onto Photoshop.
You can also copy them to a folder first, then open them from Photoshop (see below).
Can I copy or move my photos to a folder first?
You can copy or move your selected photos to a new folder, then open them in Photoshop.
In the Ship + Pre-edit window, turn on Move or copy files.
Click Browse and choose or create the folder you want.
Choose whether to move or copy, then start.
Once it's finished, open that folder and open the photos in Photoshop. Keep their XMP files (small sidecar files that hold your ratings) in the same folder.
This copies or moves your original photos. It doesn't create edited JPEGs or TIFFs. Learn more about moving or copying your photos.
Can I edit my photos with an AI Preset in Photoshop?
