What can I do with Narrative?
Cull: import a shoot, see similar photos together in Scenes, check faces and focus, and rate your keepers.
Edit: send your selects to Lightroom with an AI Preset applied, so they arrive already edited. Use our Core Presets, Artist Presets from the Narrative Preset Marketplace, or a Personal AI Preset trained on your own editing style (Premium and Ultra plans).
Narrative doesn't export final JPEGs. You'll finish and export your photos in your editing software, like Lightroom.
How do I start a free trial?
Check your computer meets the system requirements: macOS 12 or later, or Windows 11.
Download Narrative from narrative.so and sign in.

How do I cull my first shoot?
Create a project from a folder of photos. Using a memory card? Connect it and Quick Ingest opens, so you can choose which sessions to copy and where.
Let Narrative finish working out Scenes and AI assessments.
Go through each Scene, starting with the top-ranked photos and comparing the alternatives.
Check faces and the full composition, then rate the photos you want to keep.
Click SHIP + EDIT, check your selection and destination, and send your photos to your editing software.
Want them edited too? Turn on an AI Preset when you ship to Lightroom, then finish and export in Lightroom.
