If you want to change your gallery view in Publish, you can user the slider underneath to enlarge the thumbnails, or click on the filter to apply different sort orders, filters and views.
Split Used Images - this will split images currently used in your post into a section at the bottom so your gallery has a clearer view of which images you have left to choose from.
Show Hidden Images - if you right click an image, you can hide it from your gallery view. If you change your mind later, you can show your hidden images.
Auto Add New Images - if you add new images to your source folder and refresh it to add them into your gallery, the new images will automatically be added to the bottom of your post.
