Your access key connects Publish to the Narrative Publisher plugin on your WordPress website. You find it in your publishing settings in Publish. To install and set up the plugin from the start, see Install and connect the Narrative WordPress plugin.
How do I find my access key?
To find and copy your access key, follow these steps.
In Publish, open the post you want to publish and click the gear icon to open your publishing settings.
Check your website details, then click Continue and Check until you see your access key.
Click your access key to copy it.
How do I add my access key in WordPress?
Then, paste your access key into the plugin in WordPress.
In your WordPress dashboard, open the Narrative plugin.
Paste your access key.
Click Save Changes. Check that the time and date shown match when you saved it.
Go back to Publish and click Check again.
When you see Authentication successful, your plugin is connected and you're ready to publish with the plugin.
Note: Your access key works like a password for your website, so don't share it publicly.
