Automatically add new photos to your Publish post

Turn on Auto Add New Images so photos you export into your source folder go straight into your Publish post.

Written by Ashton Smith

Auto Add New Images adds new photos to your Publish post as soon as they're added to your post's source folder. It's handy if you like to edit photos one at a time and build your post as you go.

How do I turn on Auto Add New Images?

To turn on Auto Add New Images in Publish:

  1. Make sure the gallery is open.

  2. Click the filter button at the bottom of the gallery and click Auto Add New Images.

Now, when you export a photo from Lightroom or another photo editor into your source folder, Publish adds it to the bottom of your post.

Note: Auto Add New Images stays on for all your posts until you turn it off. If it's on when you create a new post, Publish adds every photo in the source folder to your layout.

To turn it off, click the filter button again and click Auto Add New Images.
