How do I train a Personal AI Preset from my Lightroom CC edits?

To train a Personal AI Preset from photos you edited in Lightroom CC, export them, import them into Lightroom Classic, then train in Narrative.

Step 1: Export your photos from Lightroom CC.

  1. Open Lightroom CC and go to the photos you want to use.

  2. Export your RAW photos into a dedicated folder, and choose Original as the export type.

Step 2: Import your photos into Lightroom Classic.

  1. Open Lightroom Classic and create a new catalog.

  2. Click Import and select the folder you exported your edited Lightroom CC photos to.

Step 3: Train your Personal AI Preset in Narrative.

  1. Open Narrative.

  2. Go to the AI Presets tab and click Train a new AI Preset.

  3. Your new Lightroom Classic catalog should appear automatically. If it's on an external drive, connect the drive first.

  4. Follow the steps on screen to train your Personal AI Preset.

You need at least 1,500 edited and exported photos to train a Personal AI Preset. When your Personal AI Preset is ready, you can ship with it. Learn how to ship photos with your Personal AI Preset.

Note: Corrections you make in Lightroom CC can't be used to improve your Personal AI Preset. To keep improving it, make your corrections in Lightroom Classic.
