What to do if you signed up on the wrong plan

If you signed up onto the wrong plan, all you need to do is switch to the right plan and Narrative will do the rest.

1. Click here and login to the account portal
2. Click change plan and pick the plan you want to change to.

Narrative will do the rest!

If you want to change to a more expensive plan, Narrative will prorate the difference and you will be charged the difference.

If you switch to a cheaper plan Narrative will prorate the difference and your account will be given the difference as credit towards future payments.

Switching from Monthly to Annual

  • Let’s say you're on the Standard Monthly plan, billed at $29 USD on the 1st of each month. If you upgrade to the Standard Annual plan ($240 USD/year) exactly halfway through your billing cycle (e.g., April 15), you’ll receive a $14.50 USD credit for the unused portion of your monthly plan. That credit will be automatically applied to your new annual plan.

Switching from Annual to Monthly

  • If you're on the Standard Annual plan ($240 USD/year, billed January 1st), and you switch to the Standard Monthly plan halfway through the year (e.g., July 1), you’ll get a $120 USD credit for the unused half of your annual plan. This credit will be applied toward your new monthly payments.

Upgrading to a Higher Plan

  • If you're on the Standard Annual plan ($240 USD/year) and decide to upgrade to Premium Annual ($480 USD/year) halfway through (e.g., July 1), you’ll get a $120 USD credit for the remaining time on your current plan. That means you'll only be charged $360 USD for the Premium Annual upgrade.

Downgrading to a Lower Plan

  • Let’s say you're on the Standard Annual plan ($240 USD/year, billed January 1st) and you downgrade to the Lite Annual plan ($120 USD/year) exactly halfway through the year (e.g., July 1). You'll get $120 USD credit for the remaining time on your current plan.
