Troubleshooting steps to take if you're unable to sign into your account.

If you're having trouble logging into your Narrative account and the page is stuck loading, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Force Quit your Browser and Reopen:

  • Step 1: While your browser is open, press and hold ⌘ (Command) + Q until it quits.

  • Step 2: Reopen your browser from the Dock or Applications folder.

  • Step 3: Try logging into Narrative again.


Use an Incognito Window:

  • Step 1: Attempt to log into Narrative. Once the login page appears, copy the webpage link.

  • Step 2: Click on "File" in the top menu bar, then select "New Private/Incognito Window."

  • Step 3: In the new private window, paste the login link you copied.

  • Step 4: Try logging into Narrative again.


Use Another Browser as your Default Web Browser and Try Again:

  • Step 1: If you use Safari, download Google Chrome if you haven’t already. If you use Google Chrome, try using Safari in the next steps.

  • Step 2: Open System Settings on your Mac.

  • Step 3: Navigate to the "Desktop & Dock" tab, and find "Default web browser."

  • Step 4: Click the dropdown menu and select either "Google Chrome." or "Safari" depending on which one you normally use.

  • Step 5: Close your browser and try logging into Narrative again. Your new default browser should now automatically open and allow you to login.
