You can see what your photo looked like before Narrative applied your AI Preset without resetting anything. In Lightroom Classic, press the \ (backslash) key to switch between before and after.
How do I see the before and after?
To see the before and after, use the backslash key in Lightroom Classic.
Open the photo in the Develop module in Lightroom Classic.
Press \ to see the photo before your AI Preset was applied.
Press \ again to go back to the edited photo.
This only changes what you're looking at. It doesn't remove your AI Preset or any changes you've made.
How do I compare different AI Presets?
If you shipped with more than one AI Preset, each one is a Snapshot. Open the Snapshots panel in the Develop module and click an AI Preset to see it on the photo.
Important: Unlike the backslash key, clicking a Snapshot changes the photo's edit and replaces changes you've made since shipping. Sync Snapshots (File → Plug-in Extras → Sync Snapshots) does the same to every photo you've selected. Save any edit you want to keep first.
What if I want to remove the edits?
If you want to remove your AI Preset from a photo, see How do I remove an AI Preset from my images in Lightroom Classic?. You don't need to reset a photo just to see the before and after.
If you reset a photo by mistake, press ⌘Z on Mac or Ctrl+Z on Windows to undo it. You can also go to the History panel and click the step before you reset.
