A short screen recording helps our support team see exactly what's happening in Narrative, and the steps that led to it.
What should I do before I record?
Before you record, make sure nothing private shows on your screen:
Close other windows and turn off notifications.
Hide passwords, access keys and payment details.
Hide any client photos you don't want to share. If you can, use a small test project.
Only record the part of your screen you need to, and watch your recording before you send it.
How do I record my screen on a Mac?
To record your screen on macOS Mojave or later, follow these steps.

When you're done, click Stop in the menu bar.
Your recording saves to your Desktop, unless you chose another place in Options.

How do I send my recording to support?

With your recording, let us know:
What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
The steps you took.
Which Narrative app you're using, and your app and computer versions.
Any error message you saw.
In Narrative, you can also send us your logs from Help > Troubleshooting > Send Logs to Support. Please don't share your recording publicly.
