How does Narrative use your photos?
At Narrative, we understand the importance and value of your photos, and we take your privacy and confidentiality seriously.
We want to make sure you understand what happens to your photos in Narrative.
For the avoidance of doubt, all images loaded into Narrative remain locally on your hard drive/computer. We do not upload your images to the cloud for processing or analysis.
Do you train AI on my photos?
No, not unless you choose to. By default, Narrative does not use your photos to train our AI models, and we never share your images with anyone.
The only exception is if you opt in to help improve Narrative. This is completely optional. You'll be asked whether you'd like to opt in when you first log in to the app, and you can change your choice at any time under Preferences > General > "Help improve Narrative".
If you don't opt in, your images are never used for training.
