Auto-level straightens your photos automatically when you ship them to Lightroom with an AI Preset. Narrative's AI finds the horizon or a strong line in each photo and levels it, so your photos arrive straight. Auto-level is on Standard, Premium and Ultra plans.
How does Auto-level work?
Auto-level is turned on by default when you ship with an AI Preset. Narrative analyzes each photo, and if it needs straightening, applies the right rotation. The change is applied when the photo loads in Lightroom, and you can adjust it yourself afterward.
Not every photo needs straightening, so Auto-level won't change all of them.
How do I turn Auto-level on or off?
You can turn Auto-level on or off each time you ship.
Click Ship + Edit in Narrative.
Turn on Apply AI Preset for Lightroom and choose your AI Preset.
Click the three dots in the top-right corner, next to Apply AI Preset for Lightroom.
Tick or untick Auto-level.
Ship your photos.
How do I see which photos were straightened?
Once your photos have shipped, Narrative shows a summary with how many photos you shipped and how many were straightened.
Check your photos in Lightroom, and change the crop or angle on any you'd like to adjust. You always have the final say on how a photo is framed.
Why can't I see Auto-level?
