What’s the difference between Lite and Standard culling?

Compare the basic culling tools in Lite with Advanced AI Culling on Standard, Premium and Ultra, including Scenes and Close-ups.

Written by Ashton Smith

Every Narrative plan includes culling. Lite gives you the basic culling tools. Standard, Premium and Ultra add Advanced AI Culling, which includes Scenes, Scene rank ordering, the Close-ups panel, Image Focus Scores and assessment filters. Whichever plan you're on, you choose the photos you keep.

What are the First Pass categories?

First Pass sorts your photos into five categories: Best in scene, Above average, Average, Below average and Undesirable. They're a guide to help you review. A First Pass category never rejects or deletes a photo.

Should I choose Lite or a plan with Advanced AI Culling?

Lite suits you if you want to review and rate your photos with the basic culling tools.

Choose Standard or above for Advanced AI Culling if you want to see similar moments together in Scenes, check faces in the Close-ups panel, and filter your photos by their AI assessments.

A top Scene rank is a good place to start looking, not a verdict on your photo.

Where can I compare everything else in each plan?

This article only covers culling. To compare editing features, device allowances, Personal AI Preset slots and Auto-level across plans, see Compare Narrative plans. You'll find a link to current prices there too.
