Clicking Images

Clicking images is the easiest way to add images to your post. When you click them, they'll add to the bottom of your post (under Narrative Publish > Preferences, you can change this to a double click instead of a single click if you prefer).

If you have multiple images selected, hold the command button and double-click to add the images side by side.

Dragging and Dropping images

The easiest way to add images is to drag and drop an image from the gallery and drop it where you want the image to be.

  1. Find the image you want to add in the gallery

  2. Click and hold to start dragging it

  3. While holding, move the image to where in the blog you want to add it.

If this isn't the first image, drag it over to the blog and you'll notice some blue bars start to show up. These blue bars indicate where the image will be placed.

In some cases you'll see more then one blue bar, this allows you to do cool layouts like this:

If you drag an image on top of another you will see that original image gray out, if you release the image then it will get replaced or swap like this:

You can also select and drag multiple images at once:

Dragging is super simple and makes blog building really fun.

The Magic Wand

The final way to add images to your blog is to use the magic wand feature to add as many images to your blog as you want. This is an example of what it does:

To learn more about this feature click here.

Once you have added images via the magic wand, it can be a good idea to use the drag feature to rearrange the images to your liking.
