Viewing Images in Fullscreen

View one photo at a time in Narrative's fullscreen mode, and learn how to rate, move between photos and exit.

Written by Ashton Smith

Fullscreen mode in Narrative shows one photo at a time across your whole screen, so you can judge your shots without distractions and without leaving your culling flow.

How do I view a photo in fullscreen?

To view a photo in fullscreen, press F on your keyboard while you're culling. Press F again to turn fullscreen off.

What can I do in fullscreen?

Fullscreen works the same way as your normal culling view:

  • Rate photos with your number keys.

  • Move between photos with the arrow keys.

How do I exit fullscreen?

You can exit fullscreen in Narrative in any of these ways:

  • Click the X in the top-right corner of the screen. Hover over it to see the Exit Fullscreen [F] tooltip.

  • Click the dark area around the photo.

  • Press F.

  • Press Esc.

Narrative goes back to your standard view, on the same photo.

Note: The X is hidden while you're zoomed in. Zoom back out, or press F or Esc, to exit.
