When you export images from Narrative to Lightroom with multiple AI presets applied, Narrative allows you to select the preset that will be used as the default snapshot. If you later want to change the default preset for a selection of images in Lightroom, for instance, using a different preset for outdoor versus indoor shots, you can quickly do so using the Sync Snapshots feature.
Here's how to sync a new AI Preset snapshot across multiple images:
In Lightroom Classic, select all the images you'd like to update. You can filter by scene, location, or any other criteria to group the images to which you want to apply the same preset.
Go to File > Plug-in Extras > Sync Snapshots.
In the Sync Snapshots dialog box, use the dropdown menu to select the AI Preset snapshot that you want to apply to all the selected images.
Click Apply.
Lightroom will now set your chosen preset as the active snapshot for all the selected images.
Tips
You can repeat this process as many times as you like with different image selections. For example, you can run it once for outdoor images with one preset and again for indoor images with a different preset.
This only changes the displayed default snapshot; your other preset snapshots remain saved and accessible within each image.
