Some Wordpress themes fail to correctly gather the preview text for Narrative Publish posts. If you're running into this like the example below, you will need to input these details manually.
How to resolve in WordPress
👉 To resolve (Classic Editor) via code:
Open the post you would like to edit.
Select the text editor.
Select the text highlighted in the image below and delete it.
4. Where the text was displayed, paste the preview text you would like to display.
NOTE: If you've already shared the post on your facebook page you will need to initiate facebook to scrape the page again. Use the link here to prompt facebook to scrape your page again -https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
👉 To resolve (Classic Editor) via Plugin:
1. Open the post you would like to change the summary text.
2. In the top right there is "Screen Options" button. Press it to open the "Screen Options"
3. Find the "Excerpt" box and ‘tick’ it.
4. Scroll down to the "Excerpt" box below your blog
5. Type the text you want to show up as the summary.
6. Publish/Update your blog to see the changes.
👉 To resolve (Gutenberg Editor):
1. Find the blog in which you want to change the summary text of and open it
2. In the right hand panel you will see a few options, expand the "Excerpt" panel.
3. Type the text you want to show up as the summary.
4. Publish/Update your blog to see the changes.
How to resolve in Squarespace
1. Create your new post inside your blog.
2. In the blog panel of the left hover over the blog in which you want to change and click the edit button.
3. Open the options tab.
4. Under the Excerpt box type the snippet in which you want to add.
5. Click save in order to save your changes.

If you published your post and find a blank space between your blog title and images or no featured image when seen from your blog page like the examples below, it's likely that your theme isn't fetching the preview image of your post . To resolve this, you will need to input these details manually.

How to manually input a featured image for a WP post
1. Open the post you would like to edit.
2. Scroll down and look for the section Featured Image.
3. Select Set featured image.
4. Upload the file you would like displayed as the featured image.
5. Save the changes and refresh the post.
You should have now the featured image applied to your post.
