Facebook Comments no longer works in Publish. Meta (the company behind Facebook) shut down its Facebook Comments plugin on February 10, 2026, so comments can't be added to your posts anymore, and existing comment sections no longer show.
Why can I still see the Facebook Comments option?
You may still see a Facebook Comments option in Publish. Turning it on, adding a Facebook ID or publishing your post again won't add comments to your post, because Meta no longer provides them.
If comments have disappeared from your post, your post and photos are still published as normal.
What can I use instead?
Many website builders have their own comments feature, or work with other comment tools. Ask your website provider what they offer, and set it up on your website by following their steps.
