How to export your Narrative Publish Database

1. Open Narrative Publish, head to the top menu bar and select "File" 

2. Once, you have the "File" menu open, select "Export Backup...". 

3. A finder window will open up, navigate to the destination that you want to export your back up. Press the "Select" button when have found where you want to save your database.

You will now have exported a back up of your Narrative Publish database, inside finder it should look like this.

How to Import a Narrative Publish Database

Important: When importing a backup file, it will erase all data in the active session and replace it with the selected backup. This is an irreversible action.

If you don't have any blog files inside your active session and/or are okay with overwriting your blog files, have a look at the methods below on how to import your backup file.

Method 1

1. Open Narrative Publish, head to the top menu bar and select "File" 

2. Once, you have the "File" menu open, select "Import Backup...". 

3. A finder window will open up, navigate to the database you'd like to import. Press the "Open" button.

4. Narrative Publish will now restart, When your blog is reopened the database you imported should be loaded.  

Method 1

Double-click on .narbackup file to import it directly to your app.
