Narrative Publish Logs
Unless our Support team has requested your Logs then please ignore this article.
Your logs are used to troubleshoot bugs in the app. They provide the step-by-step actions that you made within the app prior to the bug. This allows us to see exactly how the bug took place.
How to Send logs to support
- Inside Narrative go to the tool bar and click "help"
- Scroll down to "logs" and then click "Send my logs to support"
- Your logs will now be sent to support. If you get a confirmation message your logs have been uploaded successfully and sent to support.

How to send your logs to support manually
If you are unable to log into Narrative Publish you will not be able to send your logs to support, instead you will have to manually find them and send them to support.
Follow these steps for how to find them.
1. Open a finder window
2. In the toolbar click on "Go" then "Go to Folder"
3. Copy this text and paste it in the search box~/Library/Containers/com.softwareltd.narrative/Data/Library/Logs/Narrative Publish
then press "go"
4. Select all the logs, right click and select compress.
5. Attach the compressed logs and send them to support either via chat or email.

How to clear your Narrative Publish Logs
Support may ask you to clear your Narrative logs to test something. If so, follow the steps below.
- Inside Narrative go to the tool bar and click "help"
- Scroll down to "logs" and then click "Clear my logs"
- Your logs have now been cleared.
